Ms Makhanya’s position as SAICA’s Senior Executive of transformation and growth affords her a unique opportunity to inspire and assist deserving scholars, tertiary & post-tertiary youths, to realise their dreams in the accounting and financial industry. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to increase the number of accounting professionals from historically disadvantaged backgrounds to sustain our country’s economy. Gugu has built extensive relationships across many institutions and organisations, including government, universities, accounting and other professional bodies.
