Mr Ngwenya is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Pretoria.
Mr Ngwenya is a systems engineer and social entrepreneur committed to integrating education, community outreach, and entrepreneurship to drive sustainable impact.
As a lecturer within the Supply Chain stream, Mr Ngwenya empowers future industry leaders with systems thinking, digital transformation, and data-driven decision-making skills to optimise supply chains and industrial processes. His expertise spans engineering education, supply chain management, intelligent systems, and digital technologies, fostering self-directed learning and critical problem-solving among students.
Beyond academia, Mr Ngwenya is the Founder of Own and Manage (OM), Infinite Vumisa Agro (IVA), and Keep That Gold Shining (KTG) – organisations focused on business optimisation, community development, and social entrepreneurship. Through these ventures, he drives sustainable economic models, youth empowerment and digital transformation in underserved communities, creating pathways for innovation and growth.
Mr Ngwenya’s leadership extends to boardrooms, where he serves as a Board Member for Gamers Territory. He also plays a key role as Stakeholder Manager for the Joint Community Projects module, strengthening partnerships and fostering impactful collaborations that enhance student development and community engagement.
